Patrick came aboard our team when our Belmont Heights Nashville Campus merged with another church in the Nashville area, called Park Avenue Baptist Church – and we are so thankful that he came on onto our team. Patrick has a huge heart for personal discipleship and care of those in need, so his role is a great fit for the ways that God has gifted him. In this role, Patrick says he loves to help people take the next step in their faith and to also be present for others in sometimes the most difficult or darkest moments, because that’s when he can tell of the hope found in Jesus.
When Patrick was ten, Patrick said the Lord called him into ministry, and he said, “No!” After an adolescence of distrust and running from God, he chose to trust in Jesus and was called again. Now, even through the highs and lows of the job, he loves serving in full-time ministry and there is nothing else he’d like to do.
As an Alabama football fan (and just football in general!), Patrick enjoys watching football games, especially if it’s SEC football, and he even used to play football in high school and was a Defensive End! Patrick and his wife, Kasey, have two adopted sons, Caleb and Princeton, who they fiercely love, and Patrick’s favorite thing to do is spend time with them.
