On October 2, 2022, Payton and Addie Gray were baptized in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. 

Third grader Payton was baptized by Kids Pastor Kenley Teige, whom she calls “sweet and kind.” Our church family — third graders included! — celebrated Payton’s decision to follow Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior. Payton tells us that God has been there for her when she’s needed Him, and that He helped her to comfort her family members, too. She says she wants to be baptized to honor God. 

Sixth grader Addie was baptized by her father, T.C. Gray, whom she says helps to strengthen her relationship with God. Her testimony is wonderful: “He has saved my life. God sent His Son Jesus to die for my sins. He helped me through loss, frustration, and sadness. He helps me find the good in things. I want to get baptized to show Him that I am fully committed to my relationship with Him and that I’m ready to take the next step. I believe in Him, and His son, and the Holy Spirit.” 

We’re so excited for the Gray girls. We pray they will continue to seek God first through the ups and downs of their lives.
