Ruby Kate Evans had been asking about becoming a follower of Christ for the past several months before she decided to be baptized. She had learned about baptism and salvation through her experiences at Rolling Hills Kids Camp, at Kids Ministry, and in conversations with small group leaders and with her parents and older sister. About two months prior, she had a conversation with her mom and dad, and she said she wanted to be a Christ-follower. She prayed and asked Him to save her from her sins and told her family that she believed Jesus is God’s Son and saved her and that she wanted Jesus to be her Friend, Lord, and Savior. How incredible is that? God has been so faithful to Ruby Kate and the Evans family, and we're so thankful to be a part of the story He's writing for their lives.
