FOR AN IN-PERSON SERVICE

For the past several Sundays since going completely online, we've been praying, watching, and waiting for the right time to return to safely return to in-person worship services at our campus. Our ministry teams will still be facilitating ways to connect from your homes, but for those who are ready to join us in-person, we can't wait to see you soon! Visit our Reopening page to find out all the details on how we're phasing our reopenings, and what to expect!

Life On Purpose

Part 8: Legacy for JesusPart 8: Legacy for Jesus - FRC

Chase Baker

August 2, 2020

As we conclude this series, the apostle Paul reminds us that God has a greater purpose for our lives, to KNOW GOD and to MAKE HIM KNOWN. In other words, to LOVE GOD and LOVE PEOPLE. Discovering our purpose drives the way we live and ultimately is what we are going to be known for, your legacy. Legacy, It means putting a stamp on the future, and making a contribution to future generations. The next generation is watching what we do and how we respond to this life. The next generation will see and experience God through the lens of how you see and experience God. They will also see and experience people through the lens of how we see and experience people. What will it take for us to model the life of Jesus for them? “The greatest legacy one can pass on to one’s children and grandchildren is not money or other material things accumulated in one’s life, but rather a legacy of character and faith.” —Billy Graham

Racial Reconciliation & The Church's Role

“We have to listen, we have to speak out, we have to love.” One of our very own worship leaders, George Mhondera, sat down with Pastor Jeff to give us a chance to hear about his personal experience with racism, injustice, and the ways we, as the church, must step up.
