Rolling Hills and Path Project began a partnership in 2012 to launch a program for at-risk youth in the Franklin Estates mobile home community, which is home to mainly first and second generation Hispanic immigrants. Many of these children lack positive role models, basic learning skills, and face the hopelessness that often leads to gang violence, teen pregnancy, and high drop out rates. We work with families, schools, and businesses to help the kids at Franklin Estates find the right path for their lives - spiritually, socially, and academically.

In addition to serving with the tutoring program, Community Groups can provide individually packaged snacks and drinks or school supplies (mainly new/gently used books) for the ongoing ministry. Around the holiday season there are also many opportunities for Community Groups to sponsor an age group, help out with Christmas parties, or support a Franklin Estates family. For any additional interests or question, call Margaret Jane

4:13 Strong aims to help break the cycle of poverty, crime, and dependency by providing faith-based educational, vocational, and life skills training. Their vision is to create the path to legitimacy, independence, and self-sufficiency for at-risk young men who want to radically improve their lives. Community groups can help prepare a dinner meal and then eat with the men or provide some evening tutoring. Tutoring requires no special knowledge—just a little patience is needed. Other volunteer opportunities include providing non-perishable food items or doing a campus work day (gutter cleaning, landscaping, painting, basketball court repair, etc.). Men can also join in on a 4:13 small group, host a movie night with the boys, grocery shop for the house, organize experiences for the boys like fishing, hiking, canoeing…etc. You can also show your support by attending their upcoming event:
