Summary

How are you growing as a disciple? Is it through daily practices and spiritual disciplines? Careful study and biblical application? A disciple is an always-growing follower of Jesus Christ. Who are you growing with as a disciple? Who is mentoring you? Who are you growing alongside? Into whose life are you investing yours? Discipleship is always a “we” and never just a “me” endeavor. That’s why the brotherhood in Acts was so vital. Finally, what difference does your growth make? Growing in Jesus will always lead to serving others for Jesus. If your spiritual growth isn’t leading to personal sacrifice for the sake of others, it’s safe to say that the growth isn’t spiritual.
