God has lavished His love on us! God has made a way for us to be made clean through Christ. God yearns for us to have a life filled with peace and meaning. But He doesn’t just want it for us. He wants it for everyone and He has given us the message to go and share. Pray for ways this week to show love to a lost and hurting world!

See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! 1 John 3:1a
Of all the titles you could have, none is greater than “Child of God!”
Yet to all who did receive Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God—children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God. John 1:12-13
In what ways has God lavished His love on you?
- Grace when you least deserve it.
- Peace when it should be elusive.
- Hope in the midst of chaos.
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast. Ephesians 2:8-9
When you think about Jesus, do you think more about following rules or more about freedom from sin?
Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness. But you know that He appeared so that He might take away our sins. And in Him is no sin. 1 John 3:4-5
You can always identify a tree by the fruit it bears!
This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not God’s child, nor is anyone who does not love their brother and sister. 1 John 3:10
Love for others speaks boldly to a watching world.
By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another. John 13:35
