Rolling Hills Residency
The Rolling Hills Ministry Residency Program exists to train, equip and develop the next generation of leaders for The Kingdom through summer internships and year-long residency programs.
The Rolling Hills Residency program is not just about ministry tasks—it is also about belonging.
Interns and Residents will build meaningful relationships with one another and staff leaders as they experience life in Christian community and actively participate in the Young Adult Ministry(opens in new tab), creating a space where they can grow spiritually while also building relationships with peers in a similar stage of life.
Rolling Hills Interns
The Intern position is designed for college students and young adults exploring a career in ministry.
During this 10-week summer experience, interns will experience the everyday rhythms and responsibilities of ministry leadership while serving alongside staff and ministry leaders.
Interns work 10–15 hours per week within a ministry team, where they observe, contribute, and grow through hands-on experience. They will also attend Leadership Lab, a weekly 90-minute session focused on leadership, spiritual formation, and discipleship.
More than just gaining ministry experience, interns will build meaningful relationships with other interns, residents, and staff while participating in Young Adult Ministry and growing in Christian community.
Applications are open January–March each year.
Rolling Hills Residents
The Resident position is designed for young adults age 21 and older who are pursuing a career in full-time ministry and seeking practical experience.
Over one year, Residents will build ministry rhythms, take on new responsibilities, and grow in leadership.
Residents work 20–25 hours per week within a ministry team, serving alongside a staff supervisor and gaining hands-on experience in an active ministry environment.
Residents will also participate in a weekly 2-hour Residency Rally focused on leadership development and spiritual formation. Throughout the year, they will grow in leading themselves through personal formation, leading others through relational and ministry skills, and leading ministries through operational development.

Worship Arts
MUSICAL, TECHNICAL & PRODUCTION
Get hands-on, real-time ministry experience in Worship Leading, Tech Arts, or Production, both on and off the platform. Build practical skills in worship, live production, technology, and leadership while preparing for a future in full-time ministry.
Kids Ministry
PRESCHOOL AND ELEMENTARY
Receive practical experience in Preschool and Elementary Ministry while learning how to teach, disciple, and care for children. Grow your leadership skills and discover what it looks like to serve kids and families in a church setting.
Student Ministry
HIGH SCHOOL & MIDDLE SCHOOL
Gain hands-on experience in Student Ministry by serving middle and high school students alongside our team. Develop practical skills in discipleship, leadership, teaching, events, and small groups while helping create environments where students grow in their faith and community.
Young Adults & College Ministry
Gain hands-on experience in College and Young Adults Ministry by serving alongside our team and investing in ages 18–29. Develop practical skills in discipleship, leadership, teaching, community, and events while helping young adults grow in their faith and take their next steps with Jesus.
Women's Ministry
Women’s Ministry creates welcoming environments where women of all ages and stages can connect in community, grow to be more like Jesus, and use their gifts to serve and lead. Residents will gain hands-on ministry experience in discipleship, leadership development, relational connection, care, and the planning and execution of ministry initiatives across our campuses.
Men's Ministry
Step into Men’s Ministry and help create spaces where men can connect, grow, and pursue Jesus together. Serve alongside our team through discipleship, events, small groups, and leadership while learning how to build a ministry that equips men to lead well at home, work, and church.
Missions
LOCAL, NATIONAL, & GLOBAL
Explore missions through hands-on experience at the Rolling Hills Community Center and Thrift Store, along with local and international mission opportunities. Gain practical experience and insight into pursuing a calling in mission ministry.
Communications
WRITING, PHOTOGRAPHY, DESIGN, VIDEO, WEB & SOCIAL MEDIA
Serve God with your marketing and creative gifts. Our Communications and Marketing ministry supports every corner of church life through social media, content, graphic design, video production and special events, all in a fun, fast-paced environment where no two days look the same.
Care & Counseling
As a Care & Counseling Ministry Resident or Intern, develop pastoral care skills through supervised ministry experiences in counseling, prayer ministry, congregational care, and other areas of pastoral care.
Information Technology
The goal of our IT Residency program is to gain and understanding of the breadth and depth of our technology stack (software, systems, and equipment) that us used to support ministry areas. During their tenure, residents will begin to take ownership of supporting ministry areas and systems, as well as implementation of specific objectives.
Finance
Get experience in a ministry setting while supporting the financial operations that help Rolling Hills thrive. Develop practical skills in budgeting, accounting, financial reporting, and organization while learning how financial stewardship supports the mission of the church.
Administrative
Get experience in a ministry setting while supporting the people and processes that help the church thrive. Develop skills in HR, organization, communication, people care, and administration while learning how strong systems and healthy teams support ministry.
