Sunday Mornings on Main Street

Sundays on Main Street are full of energy and fun. All year long, kids engage in both small and large group interactions to learn three core truths and more than 150 Bible stories.

Our Sunday morning environment gives your child opportunities to experience refreshing worship, learn age-appropriate truth, and build relationships with leaders and peers. We strive to create an environment that is kid-friendly and Christ-centered. Kindergarten-5th grade kids study 252 Basics from the reThink Group. If you'd like to know more about Sunday mornings for kids at Rolling Hills, email Kids Pastor, Kenley Teige, or Kids Worship Pastor, Jennifer Akers.

Wednesday Night Programming

Current Kindergarteners - 5th graders are invited to join us for Midweek Kids, where kids get geared up and trained for life with Christ! Midweek Kids meets on Wednesday nights (starting September 4) from 6-7:30pm in Main Street.
All students must be registered to attend. Doors open at 5:50pm.
During the Fall 2019 semester, we will be diving into God's Word, learning how to navigate our Bibles through Bible drills and memorization. We'll also have recreation, snack, and a recap of our Bible Study from the previous Sunday morning.

NEW FOR FALL 2019: Security is a priority at Rolling Hills and, as we grow, we update our policies in order to ensure your child's health and safety while they are on our campus. In order for a child to attend Midweek Kids, an adult who is responsible for that child (be it a parent, guardian, or other responsible adult 18 years or older) MUST be ON CAMPUS for the duration of Midweek Kids.

While kids are learning, parents can too! Check out our list of adult classes that are offered during the same timeframe as Midweek Kids. Alternatively, there are lots of ways to get involved by volunteering! Contact Kids Pastor, Kenley Teige for more information about volunteer opportunities on Wednesday nights.

Next Steps for Kids

Kids in elementary ministry can take a number of significant spiritual growth steps at Rolling Hills. Declaring faith in God and learning to follow Him daily comes from an ongoing partnership with parents to help pass life with Christ on to kids.

Baptism and Beliefs Class

Baptism is #1 on the list of things that get kids talking about salvation. After a child has become a Christian or when they begin asking questions and express the desire to follow Christ, they can attend our Baptism and Belief Class along with their parents. The class is offered the first Sunday of every month. We go through the basic doctrine of salvation and the importance of baptism. Following the class, kids who have trusted Jesus for salvation can schedule their baptism. After a child becomes a Christian, they are given a 4-week new believer's devotional guide to aid them in understanding what it means to follow Jesus. Kids are given an age-appropriate study Bible upon their baptism. To sign up for the next class or get information about leading your child to Christ, contact Kids Pastor, Kenley Teige.

Kids Baptism Classes take place on the first Sunday of every month.

Partnership for Kids

At Rolling Hills, members are called partners because of the responsibility they bear for the mission and ministry of the church. Kids who become Christians are given a chance to learn about covenant relationships in the church with our very own kids partnership class each semester. Kids who have trusted Jesus for salvation and followed through with believer’s baptism can participate in the partnership class for kids.
