Nothing like Jeremiah 33:3 on repeat reminding us of God’s invitation for the prophet and the people to call to Him and await His reply to show them great and mighty things they don’t yet know. We need that promise when the question of Israel as a people and a nation seems to hang in the balance. Whatever the answer, we can trust God’s word through Paul that salvation is available to all who hear and call. The perspective provided about the depth of God’s mercy made possible for us through Jesus is a reminder we need when we consider eternity or even consider taking a new job. We need it when we consider a next step in day toward a seasonal goal or a next step in spiritual growth. We don’t get far without mercy. And we have a God we can always call on to receive it.
For Israel then and us now, CLOSED doesn’t mean FINAL.
I ask then: Did God reject His people? By no means! Romans 11:1a

Question: Am I living a life that makes people LONG for or LIMIT grace?
I am talking to you Gentiles. Inasmuch as I am the apostle to the Gentiles, I take pride in my ministry in the hope that I may somehow arouse my own people to envy and save some of them. Romans 11:13-14
Rather than conceited, the Gospel should make us CONVICTED.
I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers and sisters, so that you may not be conceited… Romans 11:25a
Evangelism must be an ongoing PRIORITY. (No MYSTERY there.)
…that they too may now receive mercy as a result of God’s mercy to you. Romans 11:31b
