Rolling Hills Residency
The Rolling Hills Ministry Residency Program exists to train, equip and develop the next generation of leaders for The Kingdom through summer internships and year-long residency programs.
The Rolling Hills Residency program is not just about ministry tasks—it is also about belonging.
Interns and Residents will build meaningful relationships with one another and staff leaders as they experience life in Christian community and actively participate in the Young Adult Ministry(opens in new tab), creating a space where they can grow spiritually while also building relationships with peers in a similar stage of life.
Rolling Hills Interns
The Intern position is designed for college students and young adults exploring a career in ministry.
During this 10-week summer experience, interns will experience the everyday rhythms and responsibilities of ministry leadership while serving alongside staff and ministry leaders.
Interns work 10–15 hours per week within a ministry team, where they observe, contribute, and grow through hands-on experience. They will also attend Leadership Lab, a weekly 90-minute session focused on leadership, spiritual formation, and discipleship.
More than just gaining ministry experience, interns will build meaningful relationships with other interns, residents, and staff while participating in Young Adult Ministry and growing in Christian community.
Applications are open January–March each year.
Rolling Hills Residents
The Resident position is designed for young adults age 21 and older who are pursuing a career in full-time ministry and seeking practical experience.
Over one year, Residents will build ministry rhythms, take on new responsibilities, and grow in leadership.
Residents work 20–25 hours per week within a ministry team, serving alongside a staff supervisor and gaining hands-on experience in an active ministry environment.
Residents will also participate in a weekly 2-hour Residency Rally focused on leadership development and spiritual formation. Throughout the year, they will grow in leading themselves through personal formation, leading others through relational and ministry skills, and leading ministries through operational development.
