Summary
As one of the most well-known figures in the Bible, King David lived a life of courage, perseverance through challenges, and resilience. Though he was a man after God's own heart, David faced difficulties and made mistakes throughout his tenure as king of Israel. But this shepherd-turned-king's story points us to the greatest story ever told, the story of a Good Shepherd who would come from David's family line to redeem and restore humanity. This summer, in our new series Masterclass: The Life of David, we'll learn about key principles in a Christ-follower's life – from how to be a Christlike leader to the importance of relationships in a believer's life to how to leave a legacy for Jesus that will outlast you. Our hope is that our summer series will be a challenging and engaging season for us to grow together, whether you're new to Christianity or have been walking with Jesus for years! We can't wait for this summer with you, church!
