Evil is real, but God still owns the field. In Matthew 13, Jesus shows us that the harvest is coming and that God has made a way for anyone to become wheat. Our call is to labor in our portion of the field, so the next generation grows strong among the weeds.

The Farmer/Sower = The Son of Man
The Enemy = The Devil
The Good Seed = People of the kingdom
The Bad Seed = People of the evil one
The Harvest = The end of the age
The Reapers = Angels

ESSENTIAL TRUTH

Evil is real, active, and opposed to God.

The farmer still owns the field.

The kingdom is here, but the harvest is coming.

We are either weeds or wheat.

If you are counted among the wheat, it is only because God made a way for you to become wheat.
If you are counted among the weeds, the good news is that God made a way for you to become wheat.

ESSENTIAL WORK

How we work grows out of what we believe.

Our call is to labor in our portion of the field.

Our call is to labor so the next generation becomes strong wheat among the weeds.
