On Sunday, September 25, 2022, Elliot Echols was baptized in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Pastor Chase Baker, a friend of the Echols family, had the privilege of baptizing Elliot as his loved ones looked on. The Echols made the move from Texas to Tennessee a while ago, but many of Elliot's loving extended family members joined our Church Online livestream to witness this important step in Elliot's faith. 

Elliot tells us he took interest in becoming a Christian by reading the Bible and seeing what God could do if you follow Him. One evening, he explored a book about baptism that he'd been given back in Texas. Once he finished reading, he prayed a prayer that let God come into his life. Elliot has such an awesome story, and we had so much joy in celebrating his public declaration of faith with his loved ones.
