We know that it is sometimes tough to reach out to friends, co-workers, and neighbors and talk to them about faith. Sports With a Purpose is meant to provide regular opportunities to reach out to others, by using sports as a tremendous bridge-builder tool within our community. As an outreach ministry, we currently have co-ed teams and men’s teams, and we would love to add to women’s teams as interest grows!

Sports With a Purpose is open to anyone from any campus. Currently, most leagues are in the Franklin or Columbia area; however, we would love to expand to Nashville West, Nolensville, and Nashville South whenever someone is ready to lead a sport at their campus!

Because so many of our sports take place in the spring and summer, once a year, we offer post-Sunday service sign-up opportunities at all of our campuses. Our next big round of sign-ups will be on Sunday, February 18, so join us at your campus to learn more about Sports With a Purpose!

If you would like to learn more about this ministry, or about creating or joining a team, please contact John Simons.

OTHER SPORTS

We have had some interest in several other sports at the Franklin Campus, Nashville, and Nolensville Campuses as well. To start a sport at Rolling Hills, a leader must be a committed follower of Jesus, be committed to Rolling Hills as their home church, be willing to use the sport to reach our community and make sure it breaks even financially. If you are interested in being a leader, please contact John Simons.
