Part 6: WorshipPart 6: Worship - FRC

Jeff Simmons

September 12, 2021

Worship is more than singing some songs on a Sunday morning. Worship is our life. Worship is our response to God for who He is and for what He has done in our life. We were created to worship; therefore, we will all worship something. We will worship money, success, and even our kids, but God wants us to worship Him. God longs for us to worship Him in the good times and in the struggles. When we truly live a life of worshiping God, this changes everything. Worshiping God brings peace, love, joy, and purpose into our hearts and allows us to bring glory to His Name with our life. Let’s engage in worship this week.

Officer Collins's Story

"I hope that people are blessed with what they see in me... that they can see the goodness of God in me."

Mia Campbell's Story

Community is instrumental for a follower of Christ, and Mia Campbell learned that from a very young age. Now more than ever, as she heads into college, she’s found that to be true. Adopted into a large family, Mia met Christ at a young age and was plugged into Preschool and Kids Ministry immediately. It wasn’t until high school, however, that her faith truly became real and more of a relationship for her. Through battling anxiety, difficult friendships, and struggles with self-worth, Mia clung to the Lord and the leaders and friends she met through the Middle School and High School Ministries at Rolling Hills. Hear Mia’s story today.

Pastor Khem's Story

Abandoned as a child, lost and alone in the country of Cambodia, Khem Sam experienced the effects of our fallen and broken world from a young age. Despite the challenges he faced, whether that was his incredibly difficult childhood, his traumatic escape from Cambodia during the Cambodian Genocide, or his journey with his family to the United States, Khem Sam knew and believed that God had a plan and a purpose for his life. And he trusted in faith that God was calling him to a life dedicated in service to Him. Hear from Khem Sam and his daughter, Anna, about how God used him and called him for a purpose – a purpose that would impact generations and eternities to come.
