Summary

Truth is very underrated. We live in a culture where unfortunately truth is always up for grabs. Instead of absolute truths and core universal truths from God’s Word, truth tends to be more relative. The problem with this line of thinking is that we have made truth a moving target. When we do this, we become just like the churches John was writing to. We tend to get lost and led astray and instead of our lives being built on a firm foundation, they are built on sands that shift. Will you make a commitment today to build your life on Him? The world says this is close-minded, whereas God says it is the key to a fulfilled life.

As for you, see that what you have heard from the beginning remains in you. If it does, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father. And this is what He promised us—eternal life. 1 John 2:24-25

Apart from Jesus, you are prone to wander, and more likely to be led astray
I am writing these things to you about those who are trying to lead you astray. 1 John 2:26

You will always make the most of your time when you realize you do not have much time left.
Dear children, this is the last hour; and as you have heard that the antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come. This is how we know it is the last hour. 1 John 2:18

The antichrist is coming and many antichrists have already come
He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God. 2 Thessalonians 2:4

Pursuing the truth of Christ leads to a beautiful life, like nothing else can or will
But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know the truth. 1 John 2:20

Nothing good ever comes from building your life on false things.
As for you, the anointing you received from Him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as His anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit—just as it has taught you, remain in Him. 1 John 2:27
