Summary

The easiest path we can take in life is one of comfortability and convenience. If we are not careful, we can go through life navigating between all of the things that do not challenge us too much or ask too much of us. However, at the heart of this way of living is self. God has a better way! God calls us to daily die to self. God calls us to put Him at the center and to orient our time, talents, and treasure all around Him! God asks us to give all for His name and His glory.

Content

I do all this for the sake of the Gospel, that I may share in its blessings. 1 Corinthians 9:23

What would my life look like if I did everything for the sake of the Gospel?

  • My joy would continually be increasing
  • I would not be content with complacency
  • Generosity would not be seen as a burden

Then He said to them all: “Whoever wants to be My disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow Me.” Luke 9:23

One of the biggest obstacles to “Giving All” is that I have so much I could give.
...From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked. Luke 12:48b

To live a life of “Giving All” is to live a life of faith.
And without faith it is impossible to please God… Hebrews 11:6a

For everything I say yes to, there is something I am saying no to.
I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With Him at my right hand, I will not be shaken. Psalm 16:8

What could God do through me if I made myself fully available to Him?
“Our greatest fear should not be of failure, but of succeeding at something that doesn't really matter.” -D.L. Moody
