On Easter 2022, Grace Boutwell was baptized by her parents, Gordon and Holly. Grace came to accept Jesus as her personal Lord and Savior at a church camp. She is a clever and curious girl who loves asking questions and growing in understanding of her God. She knows her baptism serves to announce to the world that she loves and follows Jesus. It is a symbolic act which shows people the story and power of Jesus: we die to ourselves as we enter the water, are submerged just as Jesus was buried for three days, and emerge from the water made new in Him. We are so glad to have had the chance to celebrate with the Boutwells this Easter, and can’t wait to see what the Lord continues to do in Grace’s life.
