Rolling Hills Community Church and Immanuel Nashville Reach Agreement on Church Property Sale, Marking New Chapter for Both Congregations

    Franklin, TN – 8/13/24

Rolling Hills Community Church is thrilled to announce a significant milestone in our ongoing mission to serve our community. Five years ago, we were excited to merge with Park Avenue Baptist Church, a decision that allowed us to continue the great ministry work started by Park Avenue Baptist Church many decades prior.

As a part of that merger, Rolling Hills Community Church invested several million dollars into renovating the facilities to enhance our ministry capabilities in the area. Over time, however, it became clear that the campus was too large for our current needs, and we needed to explore the possibility of right-sizing the campus to our congregation. Consequently, we engaged in discussions with our tenant (Immanuel Nashville) regarding the purchase of the property.

Immanuel Nashville is a vibrant, growing church in the community that has been diligently working with Rolling Hills Community Church to purchase the property over the past several months and has been successful in doing so as a part of their Tenth Generation Campaign.

We are excited to announce that, as of yesterday (8/12/24), Rolling Hills Community Church and Immanuel Nashville have reached an agreement on the contract and are currently in the due diligence period. Both churches have consistently stated that this outcome is the most desirable scenario and we are excited to watch Immanuel Nashville fulfill their stated mission: to be committed to being a church in the city of Nashville, for the city of Nashville, and the surrounding area–to be a home where people of all kinds can meet the real Jesus.

“We thank God for the opportunity to keep opening wide our doors at 4301 Charlotte Avenue with a welcome from Jesus for the weary. God has been so kind to answer the prayers of both Immanuel Nashville and Rolling Hills Community Church in providing for this purchase.” – Dr. T.J. Tims, Lead Pastor of Immanuel Nashville

“We are grateful for this partnership with Immanuel as we continue to work together to reach Nashville for Jesus Christ and to grow fully mature disciples. This is the result of many prayers and meetings, and we are excited about the days of ministry in Nashville ahead.” - Jeff Simmons, Senior Pastor of Rolling Hills Community Church

Rolling Hills Community Church is also pleased to share that we have secured a contract to purchase another property in West Nashville, allowing us to continue our ministry in this great community. We are enthusiastic about the future and the continued positive Kingdom impact both churches will have as a result of this agreement.
